How to Use the Orved Cuisson SV-31 Vacuum Packer
The Orved Cuisson SV-31 is a vacuum packer with digital controls, bag printing, date and batch number, and gas injection. It is designed for professional use in the food industry, especially for sous vide cooking. In this article, we will explain how to operate and service the Orved Cuisson SV-31 vacuum packer.
Installation
Before using the Orved Cuisson SV-31 vacuum packer, you need to install it properly. Follow these steps:

Check the power supply voltage on the rating plate and make sure it matches your local voltage.
Connect the power cord to a grounded socket with a suitable plug.
Place the vacuum packer on a stable and flat surface, leaving enough space around it for ventilation and operation.
Open the lid and remove any protective material inside the chamber.
Close the lid and turn on the main switch on the back of the machine.
The display will show the software version and then switch to standby mode.
Operation
To use the Orved Cuisson SV-31 vacuum packer, you need to program it according to your needs. Follow these steps:
Press the MENU button to enter the programming mode.
Select the desired parameter by pressing the UP or DOWN buttons.
Press the ENTER button to confirm your selection.
Adjust the value of the parameter by pressing the UP or DOWN buttons.
Press the ENTER button to confirm your adjustment.

Date printing: The option to print the date on the bag. You can set it to ON or OFF.
Date format: The format of the date to be printed on the bag. You can choose between DD/MM/YY or MM/DD/YY.
Date setting: The option to set the current date manually. You can adjust the day, month, and year by pressing the UP or DOWN buttons.
Batch number printing: The option to print a batch number on the bag. You can set it to ON or OFF.
Batch number setting: The option to set the batch number manually. You can adjust it from 0 to 9999 by pressing the UP or DOWN buttons.
To start a vacuum cycle, follow these steps:
Place the product inside a suitable bag and insert it into the chamber, making sure that the opening of the bag is aligned with the sealing bar.
Close the lid firmly and press the START button.
The machine will start vacuuming automatically according to your settings.
When the vacuum cycle is completed, the machine will seal and cool the bag automatically according to your settings.
If you have enabled gas injection, date printing, or batch number printing, the machine will perform these functions automatically after sealing and cooling.
When all cycles are completed, the machine will open the lid automatically and beep three times.
Remove the bag from the chamber and check that it is properly sealed and labeled.
